The Albion Park Rail Public School difference
A strong start
Our school welcomes all students from all backgrounds. We help every child feel safe, included and ready to learn from their very first day.
Growth in the classroom and beyond
We offer our students a wide range of subjects and opportunities. This empowers them to learn, develop skills, and discover their passions.
Support for every family
Our teachers and learning and wellbeing support teams work with our families. We co-design plans that help students learn in the way that works best for them.
Principal's message
"Welcome to Albion Park Rail Public School, a great learning community. As an educator, I am honoured to be part of a community that embraces our school motto of All Striving for the Best.
Albion Park Rail Public School is home to a diverse community of responsible, active learners who demonstrate an understanding of and appreciation for the three core values – Achievement, Pride and Respect.
Improving literacy skills continues to be the focus in all aspects of the school curriculum. Our staff works diligently to differentiate instruction based on the needs of each individual student. Through cooperative and engaged learning experiences, students who come from many different backgrounds make new friends and stretch their imaginations. The collective efforts of all staff members insure that every student will succeed.
The Albion Park Rail Public School staff are life-long learners dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing learning environment in which educational programs are designed to meet the academic, social and emotional needs of every student. We constantly evaluate the success of all school programs and procedures as we strive to reach new levels of excellence.
At ‘The Rail', learning extends beyond the school day for students, their families, and community members.
As expressed in our motto, All Striving for the Best, we firmly believe that the support of parents and the community is an integral part of the success of our school. Teaming together to help our students succeed is what makes Albion Park Rail Public School a great place to learn. Parents are involved in many facets of our school, from volunteering in the classroom, library or at school events to being active members of our P&C, Parent and Community Association. We are fortunate to have a committed P&C. Their many contributions greatly enrich our school and the learning experiences of our students. Our P&C is an essential part of our school's success as they organise fundraisers for the educational benefit of our students.
Together, our staff, parents and community work in harmony to help provide a variety of rich learning and social experiences for all members of the Albion Park Rail Public School community.
